The Problem: A private lending institution wanted to dispose of a group of “bad” assets (1-4 family residential dwellings.) The lending institution needed valuation, preservation, management, marketing, and transaction support from a company with institutional knowledge of the local market. The DNS Solution: DNS assisted with valuation and preservation services, and created and implemented a marketing strategy that included electronic and social media, print advertising and word of mouth to create sufficient interest in the properties. We provided transaction support and facilitated the successful sale and closing of the properties. The Result: From beginning to end, DNS managed and facilitated the disposal of bank’s non-performing assets, with an average disposal time of 100 days.

Transaction Support DNS provides real estate-related transaction and administrative support to agencies that have a need to manage their asset portfolios. We assist in all areas of asset resolution including valuation/pricing, portfolio stratification, restructuring and disposition strategies which best meet agency goals. Our staff is skilled in assessing asset portfolio details, as well as the marketplace dynamics impacting these portfolios. DNS offers end-to-end transaction support, creating a detailed marketing plan and budget that begins with a thorough analysis of each asset, and working to define and implement the best disposition strategy, whether that be sale or other disposition strategy.
